Guns Go Boom

Unfortunately… Not the right kind of boom.

I have a lot of reloading equipment that was given to me, about 2 years ago. Since that time, I’ve accumulated enough powder, primers, brass, and bullets to reload about 3000 9mm catridges alone. I’ve been reading very studiously about the entire process, and am just about comfortable enough to try my first batch of handloads. But then I see a post like this, and I want to curl up in a fetal position when I think about trying to do it.

Look, I know that there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of reloaders out there. And soon, I too will be one of them. But there’s definitely going to be a major pucker-factor when I squeeze the trigger on my first handload. In other words:
