{"id":77,"date":"2011-11-12T09:02:04","date_gmt":"2011-11-12T15:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.deltabravomike.com\/?p=77"},"modified":"2018-04-10T16:40:13","modified_gmt":"2018-04-10T22:40:13","slug":"ksg-commentary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltabravomike.com\/wp35\/?p=77","title":{"rendered":"KSG Commentary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So last week, after I posted about <a href=\"http:\/\/olegvolk.livejournal.com\/1105545.html\">Oleg Volk&#8217;s KSG Surprise<\/a>, I received a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deltabravomike.com\/?p=75#comments\">comment<\/a> from a gentleman named Derek, who listed his URL as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keltecweapons.com\">KelTecWeapons.com<\/a>.  In his comment, he pointed out that when the KSG was announced at the 2011 SHOT show, it&#8217;s target release date was in Q4 2011.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve followed the news on the KSG pretty closely, and I must admit that I never saw a timeframe announcement.  The SHOT announcement \/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keltecweapons.com\/news\/preview-kel-tec-shotgun-ksg\/\">preview page<\/a> does not make mention of a Q4 release date.  If I go and look at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keltecweapons.com\/our-guns\/shotguns\/ksg\/\">Kel Tec KSG product page<\/a>, it indicates that the KSG will ship by year end.<\/p>\n<p>If that&#8217;s the case, then I absolutely accept that Kel Tec is on schedule for the KSG release.  Kel Tec is known for innovative products, and I stand by my statement that I will be a purchaser of the KSG.  I can&#8217;t wait to get my hands on one and try it out.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I think that Kel Tec took the advice of some early testers and re-tooled aspects of the KSG.  Kudos to them for that.  I&#8217;m willing to accept a delay for that.
